Abstract
- The diversity of polyketide synthases (PKSs) in sponge-associated microbial communities is analyzed to study the uncultured sponge bacteria. The results have proposed a simplified strategy for the targeted isolation of unusually small PKS genes from complex sponge-symbiont associations.
