The long-term care of an aging work force

Long-term care (LTC) shall be the most popular employee benefits in 1995 and beyond. It is the care needed by retired people who need assistance in caring for themselves or in managing their daily activities. LTC costs are substantial health expenses for both the government and the older people. Employers sponsoring self-funded LTC benefit programs paid by employees eases the burden on the government and protect the workers.
