Abstract

Single-crystal x-ray diffraction studies help determine the crystal structures of two new synthetic dinuclear complexes having thiocyanato bridging ligands. In both complexes, NCS- bridges two Ni(II) atoms. While one complex has two dinuclear entities the other has only one dinuclear entity. Magnetic susceptibility studies help examine the ferromagnetic properties of these complexes and analyze the magneto-structural trends in these molecules.
