Abstract
- The 1994 US Congressional elections is expected to narrow the majority gap between Democrats and Republicans. A small majority will mean greater compromise between the two parties to pass legislation. In the House, Republicans are forecasted to gain up to 25 seats, while in the Senate, Republicans are expected to narrow the margin by up to four seats. House committee chairmen dealing with science and technology are expected to retain leadership after the elections.
