Abstract: Pharmacists can help their less experienced colleagues by coaching. Coaching allows colleagues to learn at work. Coaching involves determining what the colleague needs to know, establishing a learning strategy, learning opportunities and then discussion of the learning practice after the event. Coaching can be used to help meet standards, make performance improvements or prepare for new opportunities.
