Abstract: The trimer of difluoromethane is characterized by supersonic jet Fourier transform microwave spectroscopy. The investigation of the three [super 13]C species in natural abundance has indicated that the three carbon atoms form a triangle and the three subunits are held together by nine CH...F weak hydrogen bonds.
