Abstract
- The economic growth exhibited by Taiwan between 1965-1989 has been studied to gain empirical evidence for economic models that assume continued growth accompanying gains in human capital. The study supports the theory that labor quality is a useful factor for predicting economic growth in developing countries. The addition of human capital acts as a positive influence on industrialization and consequently to growth.
