Abstract

Studies reveal that it is believed that God had asked Moses to place a bronze snake, Nechushtan, on a pole and Israelite looking at it would be cured of the bite and was placed in the Jerusalem Temple but was later ruined by King Hezekiah's religious reforms. The cause behind Hezekiah's act of ruining the Nechushtan fashioned by Moses is discussed.
