Abstract

Concrete developments have been observed in the conservation of giant pandas, confined in the wilderness of China. Main threats to the species' survival include lumbering, poaching, demographic and genetic problems, which are dealt with jointly by the Chinese government, World Wild Life Fund for Nature and environmentalists all over the world. The Chinese government has allocated $13, 000,000 for the project which is estimated to cost $770,00,000.
