A note on evaluation of the quantization error in denominator-separable 2-D recursive filters

The transfer function of a separable-in-denominator 2-D digital filter is not necessarily valid for a filter with complex poles in both the z1 and z2 independent variables. Modified equations and relevant results on quantization error evaluations are presented. These quantization errors are due to quantization at the filter input.
