Abstract
- Two isozymes of protein kinase C (PKC), PKC-beta and -epsilon, participate in c-fos and C-jun mRNA accumulation in the rat basophilic leukemia cell line, RBL-2H3. Aggregation of high-affinity IgE receptors has no influence on induction of c-fos and c-jun at high strengths of PKC-beta and -epsilon. Aggregation influences induction at low concentrations. PKC-beta and -epsilon connects the cell surface receptor and gene expression.
