Abstract
- Rupture strains were smaller than those in tensile tests and creep deformation, resulting in rupture which was observed at stresses much lower than the tensile strength in the longitudinal creep tests. Debonding at the fiber/matrix interface caused the brittle rupture in the transverse creep. Monofilaments in the As-received state have more strength than fibers in the composite in the longitudinal creep.
