Wholesalers turning away techs in the first week of certification

A sampling of polled refrigerant wholesalers say they are coping with new rules that require service technicians to have certification cards in order to buy refrigerant. As of Nov 14, 1994, wholesalers must see technicians' certification cards and runners who are sent to buy refrigerant must have their names on an approved list. There is some confusion among wholesalers as to which refrigerant products require certification to purchase.
