Abstract

An efficient one-step synthesis of fac-[Ru[(CO).sub.3][Cl.sub.2](THZ)] (THZ = 1,3-thiazole) from commercial [[Ru[(CO).sub.3][Cl.sub.2]].sub.2] is described. The reactivity of fac-[Ru[(CO).sub.3]C[l.sub.2](THZ)] with biomolecules and synthetic hydrogels makes it a compound of interest for anticancer and antimetastases tests.
