Theoretical studies of symmetric five-membered heterocycle derivatives of carbazole and fluorene: Precursors of conducting polymers

The structures, electron ionization and excitation energies and electron density distribution of symmetrical five-membered heterocycle derivatives of carbazole and fluorene are analyzed. The results have shown that the properties of consecutive oligomers have indicated their fast convergence to values characterizing polymers.
