Abstract
- The effect of interfacial water on the structural and electronic properties of pentacene monolayer deposited on Si[O.sub.2] is investigated. The combined structural and electronic results have suggested that the sensitivity to environmental conditions is not caused by a change in the amount of moisture at the interface, but it is predominantly related to condensed moisture at the free surface or at exposed grain boundaries in the film.
