When museums are converted into churches

The Russian Orthodox Church's demand for attaining icons from museums angered the intelligentsia, which views them as cultural relics and historical monuments. As a result, the intelligentsia is turning away from the Orthodox Church. Russian government will decide if the property should be divided between the cultural institutions and the church.
