Abstract: The inter/intramolecular interactions (S...I, S...S, I...I, and I...H) present in the iodoform octasulfur molecule are investigated based on the properties of the electron density at the bond critical point (BCP). The results have shown that these interactions play an important role in the stability of the crystalline state of iodoform octasulfur.
