Abstract

Novel selenidoantimonate compounds [M[(dien).sub.2].sub.2][Sb.sub.4][Se.sub.9] (M = Mn, Fe), [Co[(dien).sub.2].sub.2][Sb.sub.2][Se.sub.6] and [Ni[(dien).sub.2].sub.2][Sb.sub.2][Se.sub.5] (dien = diethylenetriamine) are solvothermally synthesized and characterized. It shows that the transition-metal complexes exhibit different structure-directing effects on the formation of selenidoantimonates in dien.
