Immigration reform, Latin American trade issues piled on congress's plate

Mexican President Vicente Fox wants to make passage of immigration reform the top priority of US Congress in 2007and hopes the approval will come through. The implementation of existing trade agreements such as the Central American Free Trade Agreement, North American Free Trade Agreement, and Andean Trade Preference Act with Latin American countries have not succeeded in bringing about harmony and supporters intend to bring trade issues in the new congress.
