Abstract

An American Gastroenterological Assn Foundation panel of 14 medical experts believes grocery employees should receive training in beef handling in order to prevent E coli bacteria-related illnesses and deaths. Other recommendations include better training of federal beef inspectors and marketing irradiated beef.
