Abstract
- XK, the m-RNA expression sequence of a deletion-related transcription unit, causes McLeod syndrome. McLeod syndrome expresses itself as abnormalities in the neuromuscular and hematopoietic systems. XK encodes a protein which contains the structural characteristics of prokaryotic and eukaryotic membrane transport proteins.
