Abstract: A series of ferrocenyl derivatives with TCF-type acceptors are designed, and their electronic structures and one- and two-photon absorption properties are investigated. Results reveal that ferrocenyl derivatives with TCF-type acceptors are promising candidates for two-photon absorptions (TPA) materials.
