Abstract
- Studies on Campylobacter helveticus reveal the presence of two types of 16s rRNA gene that place the species in relation to C. helveticus. Sequencing of an enlarged 16s rRNA gene reveals the occurrence of an 148-nucleotide intervening sequence (IVS). Four other isolates possess a similar IVS in NCTC 12838.
