Abstract
- Gene expressions and promoter functions are analyzed by using transcriptional fusion in genes. Reporter genes increase promoter activity. The luxA gene inhibits or activates transcription of promoters due to the curved DNA fragment in 5' sequence of the gene. The DNA sequence is eliminated by inducing multiple mutations. LuxAB is a single reporter gene used in promoter activity.
