Abstract
- Study of charge-transfer (CT) excitation of solid-state molecular complexes that induced single crystal-to-single transformation revealed the electron transfer (ET) process to be the initiator of solid state chemical reactions. Excitation of CT bands produced certain photoreactions characteristic of solid-state reactions. CT crystals exhibit electrical conduction and ferromagnetic behavior.
