Abstract: Studies on Syrian hamsters reveal that protein kinase C (PKC) activation is a part of the signal transduction of platelet aggregating factor-stimulated microvascular cellular response. This culminates in enhanced micromolecular transport. PKC inhibitors block the increased transport of FITC-DX 150.
