Rehabbing bridges under traffic

The reconstruction of bridges while allowing traffic provides the engineers with extra problems. Major part of the construction work is done during night time to avoid the problems. The reconstruction of Baltimore Hanover Street Bridge, Providence Viaduct, Verrazano Narrows Bridge and South Tenth Street Bridge, in eastern US, while open to traffic are discussed.
