Abstract

Global economics will be tremendously affected by the Uruguay round of GATT talks, with immense change occurring in the next five to 10 years. Some 117 nations agree that the GATT's impact on the world economy will mainly focus on tariffs, textiles and apparel, agriculture, dumping, services, intellectual property, audio-visual services and subsidies.
