Abstract
- A liver-directed gene therapy is used with concentrated retroviral preparations to obtain transduction of up to 15% of hepatocytes as established by a quantitative PCR assay. In vivo comparisons of gene regulatory elements are possible with these quantitative assays. Transduced gene expression will continue to prevent difficulties.
