Abstract
- A two-coupled tight-binding chain model and the transfer-matrix scheme analyze the effect of various obstacles on the magnetic-conductance of quantum two-coupled channels. Magnetic flux at a threshold value induces the double-mode to single-mode transport transition. The conductance decreases due to mode quenching when the incident electron energy is slightly more than the threshold value for initiation of zero magnetic field second propagating mode.
