Abstract

The Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI) exerts a tremendous influence on public opinion about restaurants. Chinese and Italian restaurants were said to have suffered a decrease in sales of up to 35% when the CSPI declared that fettucine dishes and some similar Chinese dishes were bad for the heart.
