Abstract
- Very high electric field ionization of Pr(super 3+) center in the SrS: Pr, F white light emitting phosphor yields the fundamental electroluminescence (EL) emission process. EL emission processes are also yielded by optical luminescence and capturing of electrons through the excited state. Substitution of Sr ions by an isolated Mn emission produced the EL emission in the thin film electroluminescent device spectrum.
