Abstract
- X-ray crystallographic studies on two dinuclear Cu(II) complexes of the tetradentate thiadiazole ligands BPMTD and BPTD reveal the presence of standard dinuclear ones containing mu(1, 2)-thiadiazole-N,N' bridges. A third one dimensional polymeric chain complex does not involve thiadiazole bridging. Cyclic voltammograms for the first two complexes are consistent with one-step, two-electron, quasi-reversible redox reaction.
