Abstract
- A laboratory exercise, in which students handle and study 3D physical models of biochemical structures, was developed in an effort to introduce beginning students to concepts of biomolecular structure in their first university chemistry course. The model is so designed as to teach students about the way biochemical structures are portrayed in models and to help them learn about the features of such structures.
