Abstract
- The chemical diversity of intrinsically electroactive ionic liquid (IL) phases is extended to redox salts based on ferrocene tethered to imidazolium ions. The intrinsically electroactive ILs are different from the earlier reports, where the ferrocene redox moiety is directly linked to the imidazolium center, rather than being its counterion.
