Abstract
- The intercalation into layered double hydroxide layers prevents the formation of monomeric and dimeric Mo(V) species. The system has the advantage of using water as a solvent instead of aprotic solvents. Addition of water to PhSH ethanolic solutions increases the oxidation reaction rate and offers a method of contaminant thiol elimination.
