Abstract
- Gamma delta T cells confer immunity against liver and blood malarial stage to alpha beta T cell-deficient mice. Murine gamma delta T cell mutants that act against microbes define T cell recognition of the antigens. The incorporation of germ-line mutations in either the TCR alpha beta or gamma delta chain mice genes yields the alpha beta T cell lacking test mice.
