Outcome of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction in a population-based study

An evaluation of the epidemiologic features and the effect of patients with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction is conducted and the results are compared with those from patients who had heart failure with reduced ejection fraction. It was found that the number of patients with preserved ejection fraction who survived was the same as that of patients with reduced ejection fraction.
