Abstract

An investigation of the surface characteristics of Flavobacterium psychrophilum that is an important pathogen of fish is conducted to enable in identifying a surface protein termed P18, by a two-step method. The purification and characterization of the immunogenic and protective 18-kDa outer membrane-associated OmpH-like protein is reported.
