Abstract
- An econometric analysis of the economic factors associated with the voting trend on fast track authority within each house of Congress reveals a strong evidence of expected effects for the factoral distribution of income. The analysis indicated a perception that the extension of fast-track authority would mean a reduction in the economic welfare of low-wage workers versus high-wage workers throughout the entire economy.
