Single-crystalline Fe/Cr/Fe/MgO/Fe magnetotunnel junctions grown on GaAs(001)

Abstract: Interdiffusion in the Fe/GaAs interface is analyzed using conversion electron Mossbauer spectroscopy. The findings show that an independent magnetization switching in the Fe electrodes is achieved by pinning the magnetization of the Fe-top electrode by antiferromagnetic coupling across a Cr spacer to another Fe film.
