Abstract
- A model for diagnostic and operating activities in a dynamic process analyzes the diagnostic direction of workers in a nuclear plant when faults occur. Six crews who do not use a critical functions monitoring system, are tested in a realistic fault management system. Data recorded includes operator speeches, motions during a disturbance, task adequacy and interpretation. Feedback obtained from the simulation reveals the need for proper individual orientation of every operator.
