Abstract

The contribution of the egg nucleus to the monitoring of sperm nuclei activity and the cycling of maturation-promoting factor was examined in the newt Cynops pyrrhogaster's physiologically polyspermic eggs. The regulation of the stimulation of MPF includes the egg nucleus of the Cynops egg. The deficiency of parts that are essential for entry into the M phase causes deterioration of the additional sperm nuclei in the vegetal region.
