Abstract
- Fetal hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) transplantation has the potential to play a vital role in the treatment of erythroid chimerism. HSCs from non thalassemic syngeneic murine fetal donors were transplanted into recipients with nonirradiated neonatal beta-thalassemic properties. Erythrocyte chimerism was observed in several recipients within a month.
