Abstract
- Bayesian cohort analysis was used to classify individual consumption derived from Japanese household data, by age, cohort, and period effects. The determined pure period effects were regressed against charges in price and income, to obtain less biased estimates for demand parameters than non- or partially age-compensated analysis.
