Abstract
- The synthesis of the phosphine sulfide derivative of 1-[P.sub.i][Pr.sub.2-]indene, the use of this ligand in the preparation of neutral [[k.sup.2]-C,S] and cationic [[k.sup.2-H,S] Rh and Ir coordination complexes and the application of these complexes as catalysts for the addition of triethylsilane to styrene are reported. The observations reveal that species as well as monoanionic derivatives differ considerably in their coordination chemistry.
