Abstract
- Healthcare executives, as they attempt to deal with reform, should remember a few basic points. The government will overestimate savings and underestimate spending. Fee caps could lower hospitals' and physicians' revenues. Providers must become more efficient and further cut costs. An antitrust exemption for healthcare providers is unlikely.
