Abstract

A study on thrift and saving trends in Canada is presented. The study examines the impact of education, earnings, and parents' saving behavior, on child's inclination towards savings. The study also examines the compares the saving habits of French and English speaking populations with Canadians and immigrants from other parts of the world.
