Investment trusts: gurus on the move

Several United Kingdom investment trust houses have carried out major changes to their management, and the impact of management changes varies from one trust to another, depending on the extent to which the management functions as a team. Changes include the appointment of Giles Weaver as managing director at Murray Johnstone, a company which has also carried out structural changes in management of trusts. Meanwhile, Henderson Administration has taken over Touche Remnant, which has improved the marketing side of Touche Remnant, and changed Henderson's emphasis to investment trusts from unit trusts.
